Neuroticneurosis finds  fertile ground in my flesh  attaching itself  tightly to flourish;   
it runs its roots  upon my pores  
like paralysis,  poisoning my veins  with paranoia,  painting the surface  of my skin  with pallid intentions,  emblazoning blue rings  beneath my  
brown eyes.   
its vines envelop the  lengths of my limbs,  their lightness lost  like the torso of a tree  disenchanted in timid forests,  an obtuse trunk muddied by moss  and entangled with  
razored  vines  that stab into my  vasculars,   Neurotic

Autumn EtherealOn this late  autumn afternoon  as I linger  beneath these crisp  auburn canopies,  their rustling like  the breathing of the sky  while leaves  
wander downward  and accumulate  among the sides of these  winding country roads,  the mounds like cinnamon  or calico creams  that crunch beneath my  
charcoal boots;   
I observe  
their delicate downfall,  like rain or racing snows  a dancing descent  to the brim  of bleak cement,  the soft murmur of cars  
now a distant whisper  and I can almost  forget

Novocain HeartThere are nights  when I speculate  how my mind can be moved to  
build beauty  with words that have become  such pitiful stones;  I fear at times they are not enough,  not strong enough  to exhume my heart  when it has been buried  so deeply  beneath these blankets of bland,  entangled in thickets  of thorn that protrude  into my trembling flesh  and poison it with  pesticides  of insincerity.   
Though  perhaps it is indeed sincere-  perhaps the poison  is naught but Novocain  that we breathe in and inject  through our eye Novocain Heart

So, school?

My first month at school has been both endlessly enjoyable and stupidly dramatic for a million different reasons. I've been so caught up in clubs, classes (and uh, parties? Ssssh) that I haven't had as much time as I'd like to work on updating this.

Hopefully that can change soon? =]

I still don't own a camera with decent quality, so it's become problematic to get some new source material for my gallery, unless I happen to a borrow a friend's. I'm holding out for the prospect of getting one for Christmas, but hey, we'll see!

Also, the Art & Philosophy course I'm taking this semester has totally redefined a lot of my old conceptions about what "aesthetically pleasing," really means-- it's a really engaging and fresh class.

In that sense, I hope to try some new ideas and techniques with my work in the coming months, instead of rehashing the same sort of stuff. We'll see what happens! <3
